International Solidarity Summer TAILANDIA

Get to know Thailand, its imposing pagodas, its crops and landscapes and its colorful culture while participating in a volunteer project teaching English to local children and building houses for low-income families.

The challenges you'll face in this unique experience

The program takes place in Hua Hin, a coastal city 200 km south of Bangkok. In addition to collaborating in a social construction project and teaching English, you will also have the opportunity to visit a care center for elephants and other animals, visit Buddhist temples, traditional markets and more cultural activities.

What is the project about?

You will have a complete immersion in Thai culture living with local tribal families located on the mountain 80 km from Hua Hin. You will help in the community gardens, and in teaching English and organizing sports activities for the boys and girls of the tribe.

What does the program offer?

  • Volunteer activities in education giving English classes, sports and organizing recreational activities for local boys and girls.
  • Participation in a social project that aims to build houses for local families with few resources.
  • Learning about the natural environment of elephants and caring for animals.
  • Knowledge of Thai culture, religion and beautiful landscapes and its people, through a complete program of cultural activities such as excursions, mountain walks and staying with local families.
  • Development of transversal skills such as empathy, teamwork, global awareness and the ability to relate to other cultures and realities.
